Sometimes electronic devices may not function properly if they are not updated to the latest software version. This happens because apps are designed to work with newer updates. If your device is behind, some apps may not work correctly.
Follow these steps to check for the latest Operating System updates:
- Press the Home button on your remote (usually a circle or house icon).
- From the home screen, press Up and navigate to Settings, then select it.
- Scroll down and select Device Preferences.
- Select About.
- Select System Update.
- Wait while the device checks for available updates.
If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
